Gazette e-Bulletin Request Form

The Gazette e-Bulletin is the University of Ottawa’s primary source for news and information. It is sent each Thursday morning to all staff and faculty members.

A. Criteria

To include your submission in the Gazette e-bulletin, please make sure that your message:
  • pertains to all staff members
  • relates directly to the University
  • contains no more than 80 words in each language
  • includes a link to a web page with additional details
It is recommended that you submit your message at least one week prior to the date of the e-bulletin in which you would like your message to appear. As a rule, the e-bulletin only publishes announcements and events once. The Communications Office reserves the right not to send a weekly bulletin or to move an item to a future issue if there is insufficient content.

B. Date of Transmission

Please provide three dates in order of preference that you would like your message to be sent. The Communications Office will do its best to accommodate the date request.




C. Message

Enter the exact message text in the box below. Please note that, in accordance with the general publishing practices of the University, all messages for global distribution should be made available in both English and French. The Communications Office reserves the right to edit any messages for clarity, conciseness, spelling and grammar.

A decision regarding this submission will be made within two working days.
