Fingerprint Re-use/Appearance Waiver
Starting in November 2008, any person renewing a B1, B2, or B1/B2 visa issued in Russia on or after 06 November 2007 with an expiration date within the last 12 months, may qualify for a waiver of personal appearance at the Consulate.

Electronic Visa Application Form DS-156
Effective September 01, 2008, the U.S. Consulate General in St. Petersburg requires that all applications for nonimmigrant visas be prepared using the Electronic Visa Application Form (EVAF).
