DTrade Information Center
Web Notice: Beginning on May 16, 2009, the DTrade 2 application must be used to submit all new license submissions. Do not submit new applications via DTrade 1. Any new submissions to DTrade1 will be Returned Without Action (RWA), directing the applicant to submit via the DTrade2 application. DTrade 1 will be available to track status and to attach amplifying data to pre-existing cases as required. DDTC will continue to process any cases submitted to the Directorate via the DTrade1 application prior to May 16, 2009 until the review of the case is complete.
Please click here for details.
Reminder: Most forms on the DDTC Web site have an expiration date of 9/30/08. We are in the process of obtaining renewed authorization, but most likely this will not happen before 9/30. All forms with an expiration date of 9/30/08 will still be valid after that date.
DTrade is a fully-electronic defense export licensing system. DDTC is prepared to receive and adjudicate defense export authorization requests properly submitted by any U.S. person who is a defense trade registrant and wishes to permanently export unclassified defense articles via the Form DSP-5, temporarily import unclassified defense articles via the Form DSP-61, or temporarily export unclassified defense articles via the Form DSP-73. Based on envisioned expansion of electronic processing capabilities, DDTC anticipates, with few exceptions, most export licensing submissions via DTrade in the near future.
