Frequently asked questions
The University of Ottawa Financial Aid and Awards Service's primary focus is to provide students with financial counselling and financial aid on a timely and equitable basis. Our goal is to facilitate access to post-secondary education and to assist students with the sound management of their financial resources.
As Student Service Providers we:
- administer the OSAP program and its different components, which include, among others, Queen Elisabeth II Scholarship,
Millennium Scholarships, the Child Care Bursary, the Bursary for Students with Disabilities, Canada Study Grants, the Ontario
Special Bursary Plan, and Part-time Canada Student Loans;
- distribute all other provinces' governmental loans;
- manage, among others, the University of Ottawa Financial Aid Bursaries for Graduates and Undergraduates, Education Bursaries, and Food Coupons;
- administer the Work-Study programs;
- organize and co-ordinate the administration of all undergraduate scholarships and awards.
