The Second Language Institute of the University of Ottawa offers a Certificate in Advanced English and EFL Pedagogy. This special program focuses on the linguistic and pedagogical needs of internationally trained teachers from outside Canada who wish to teach or to improve their teaching of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in their home countries.
