Region Matters: US vs Europe in SMA Adoption SMAs are gaining traction, but adoption varies by region. In North America, 63% of hedge fund managers offer SMAs, compared to 54% in Europe. Looking ahead, 20% of US managers plan to launch SMAs within a year—versus just 6% in Europe. This gap reflects differences in regulation, market maturity, and access to experienced service providers.
