We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Multi Skilled) to join our Waltham Schools contract based on sites across London.

Location: London - across 7 sites

Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Mechanical Engineer (Multi Skilled), you'll be working within the FM team, supporting them in maintenance across the school sites.

Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Performing planned maintenance to assets under SFG20 guidance.
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on the infrastructure as part of our reactive and follow up programs.
  • Prioritizing workload and maintenance task to ensure KPIs and SLA are met within time.
  • Liaising with the Helpdesk administration team and sub-contractors.
  • Carry out surveys and participate in joint site meetings.
  • Contribute towards coaching and mentoring programs to support and develop site caretaking teams.

What are we looking for?

This role of Mechanical Engineer (Multi Skilled) is great for you if:

  • Relevant H&S qualifications (SMSTS/IOSH)- desirable
  • Technical competence – Time served apprenticeship in an appropriate trade such as mechanical fitter, plumbing and heating to NVQ3 level, and/or C&G equivalent.
  • CSCS Gold Card holder
  • Building Services experience (preferably demonstrable within a secondary school environment)
  • Ability to pass DBS enhanced
