This April and May, we’re delighted that motivational speaker and mental health advocate Luke Ambler, will be visiting some of our sites across England and Wales to talk with our colleagues about mental resilience. We’re also further enhancing our mental health initiatives with expanded Mental Health First Aider training, aiming to train around 100+ Mental Health First Aiders who will support colleagues across all our brands We’re on a mission to give our team access to the tools they need to build resilience and foster open conversations about mental & financial as well as physical health. These new initiatives add to our existing suite of mental, physical and financial wellbeing support available to all our 7,500+ colleagues and will help us continue to build a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and heard.

We’ve been proudly celebrating our hashtag #Classof2025 this week – 30 of our colleagues across FMG Repair Services, Northgate Vehicle Hire and ZIGUP who have completed their apprenticeship this year. In a ceremony held at Silverstone our apprentices were congratulated by senior leaders for their brilliant achievements across a range of qualifications, from IT and Finance to specialised technical skills in paint damage, panel damage, and service and maintenance. We’re proud of our award-winning apprenticeship programme, with over 296+ apprentices right across our group, at all stages of their careers currently developing their skills. A huge well done to our apprenticeship graduates today, whether you could make the ceremony or not, you’re celebrated just the same. Keeping careers moving, smarter.

As part of their Drive to Zero open days, our ChargedEV and Northgate Vehicle Hire businesses hosted 228 customers across 10 locations this past year. These open days gave customers expert insights on the key challenges around carbon reduction and fleet transition, plus hands-on experience with the latest EV solutions. Our expert Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team has been hard at work, touring our UK sites to deliver hands-on training for over 140 leaders and managers! Over 16 days and 14 locations, they’ve been sharing essential safety protocols, emergency procedures, and sustainability practices to ensure everyone leads their teams with safety in mind.

Green means go! Our Northgate Vehicle Hire team have an exciting new partnership with Peabody We recently delivered Peabody’s first electric micromobility vehicle. The new electric cargo bike will halve the time it takes caretakers to travel between homes in the Earls Court area of West London, so Peabody have more time to keep residents’ communal areas clean and tidy. The new partnership is helping Peabody cut carbon emissions, noise pollution and promote greener, sustainable ways of getting about. A simple and smooth way to reach us when it suits you, helping to keep customers on the move, more seamlessly.

Invaluable feedback from customers and colleagues helps us shape our future and drive impactful change to enhance our services, experiences and ways of working. Among other things, this feedback has seen us invest in our digital future, here’s just a few examples… 🟣 We’re 57% of the way through upgrading our sites with better internet connectivity for speedier and smoother performance as part of our multi-year project to connect our tech, people and processes. 🟣 We’ve rolled out specialist ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance System) Calibration Equipment to 62 of our FMG Repair Services sites, which has improved our customer experience and service offering.
