A heartfelt thank you on World Cancer Day. On World Cancer Day, we remember those we've lost and stand with those who have bravely faced cancer. We celebrate the journeys of survivors and express gratitude to healthcare heroes who make healthier futures possible for patients everywhere. Carol Jarvis' story is one of inspiration. A professional musician who shares stages with some of the biggest names in music, her promising future was challenged by a Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis. In this film, Carol recounts her journey through the trials and tribulations of cancer treatment. From initial diagnosis to receiving chemotherapy, clinical trials, and being treated with cutting-edge radio-pharmaceuticals. Carol's path to remission and recovery culminated in a life-saving bone marrow transplant. Her resilience and determination serve as a testament to the human spirit's capacity to overcome. Carol's recovery was fueled by the dedicated efforts of countless individuals in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. “I want to be able to say thank you to every single person that works on these things because they've saved my life, every single one of them… and I’m just one story in among thousands and thousands.” — Carol Jarvis Join us in celebrating Carol's journey as we take a moment to reflect on the lives touched by cancer. #UnitedbyUnique #WorldCancerDay #CancerAwareness #CancerSurvivor
