🌍 Powering progress, together. Last week, we brought together over 20 suppliers for a hands-on workshop to accelerate our shared decarbonisation journey. Tackling Scope 3 emissions is a challenge that requires collaboration, and it was incredible to see such high engagement, open conversations, and real momentum for change. Our suppliers left feeling inspired and empowered, with feedback like: 💬 "I found it really insightful as well as eye-opening and have taken away some useful information." 💬 "I was a sceptic walking in but now I'm feeling inspired to take action." 💬 "I felt the workshop was excellent... there was a lot of energy in the room." 🚀 Careers happens at Workspace 🚀 At Workspace, growth isn’t just about new hires – it’s about creating opportunities from within. Since April last year, we’ve welcomed new team members, including our new CEO, our first external apprentice, and had many successes from our ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme. But what we’re most proud of? The incredible career growth happening right here. Over the past year, 23 team members have been promoted, and an additional 16 team members have taken on senior cover roles. We believe in investing in our people, helping them explore new career paths and take on fresh challenges. Just look at some of the inspiring journeys from our team: ✨ Sarah Miller – From managing five buildings in Wimbledon to Facilities Integration Manager at Head Office, ensuring refurbishments are efficient and sustainable. ✨ Philip Nartey – Stepping up into an acting senior role in Facilities, mentoring the team while gaining leadership and strategic experience. ✨ Alice Creed – Moving from the Relief Team to Centre Manager at Park Hall & Corinthian House—a building that holds special meaning as her mum once worked there! ✨ Luis Posada – Growing from FMT to AFM for the Bermondsey Cluster, while also completing an FM Apprenticeship to expand his expertise. ✨ Honor Brodie – Taking on a new challenge as Centre Manager at carbon-net-zero Leroy House, leading the launch of a brand-new building. ✨ Cassie Ferry – Bringing her passion for great experiences from Fuel Tank to PA at Head Office, supporting the Exec team. Building a Greener Future at Leroy House 🌱 Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of welcoming the local community to Leroy House, Workspace’s first net zero (in construction) site, for a sustainability-focused breakfast and tour. ☕🏡 A huge thank you to the Islington Sustainability Network and everyone who joined us! This month we're celebrating sustainable waste at Workspace and as part of this activity our team did a litter pick at Kennington Park! The sunshine came to join us and we spent 1.5 hours clearing up, picking up a whopping 6 full bin bags of litter, and enjoyed a catch-up over a warm drink.   We’re not done yet! There are 2 more litter pick events coming up this month at South Bank and Clerkenwell, where we’ll be joining customers to give back to the local community. 🌿 #Sustainability #LitterPick #Waste #London
