We're a FTSE-250 retail company employing nearly 3,000 people across the UK, Europe and the United States. We're the UK's leading luxury watch specialist in the UK with a significant presence in the US and a complementary jewellery offering. At the last count we have over 190 showrooms across the UK, US and Europe, including 77 dedicated mono-brand boutiques in partnership with brands such as Rolex, OMEGA, TAG Heuer and Breitling plus seven-e-commerce websites! Our success is based on strong, long-standing partnerships with the most prestigious luxury watch brands, supported by impactful marketing and powered by leading-edge technology to provide our clients with a modern, distinctive luxury experience. This is underpinned by our people, who are highly trained and motivated to deliver exceptional client experience whilst building inclusive teams. Watches of Switzerland Group has moved our headquarters to a new, state-of-the-art office in Carlton Park, Leicester. The new 75,000 square foot office is located just outside of Leicester city centre and is home to over 500 employees. Surrounded by 32 acres of woodlands with facilities such as a mini market, team lounges, a multi-faith room and a parent room. This is an exciting new chapter in our partnership with Rolex, which began over 100 years ago in 1919 with the Northern Goldsmiths showroom in Newcastle. Nestled in one of the most prestigious global luxury retail destinations, our new boutique spans four elegantly designed floors, each dedicated to welcoming clients and showcasing the finest Rolex timepieces. The boutique’s interior is a harmonious blend of contemporary elegance and timeless craftsmanship, featuring distinct areas that cater to every aspect of a client’s journey.   • Last week our Jewellery Workshop in London hosted Isabella, a student from the The Goldsmiths' Centre Foundation Programme. This placement offers a unique opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience and develop industry knowledge, while also enabling us to contribute to the Goldsmiths Centre community. The Goldsmiths’ Centre is the UK’s leading education charity for jewellers, silversmiths, and people working in the precious metal industry, dedicated to improving skills and building careers. The charitable organisation delivers high-quality technical skills training, opening up routes into apprenticeships, employment and further education, which is the perfect stepping stone for aspiring goldsmiths, diamond mounters, and setters.   • Yesterday marked a significant milestone for The Watches of Switzerland Group PLC as we officially launched the Retail Leadership Academy - our new Level 4 Retail Manager Apprenticeship in partnership with the Fashion Retail Academy. The programme is designed to support the growth and development of our Retail Showroom Managers, Deputy Managers, and Assistant Managers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. We were thrilled to welcome 17 colleagues to Carlton Park for the launch, where Heath Waller kicked off the day with an inspiring message, sharing his own career journey and setting the tone for the programme and the incredible learning experience ahead.
