Trouw Nutrition GB Companion Animal decided to take a huge step in 2024 to upgrade their ISO 22000:2018 certification to the FSSC 22000 certification (version 6), a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognised standard to meet the expectations of our Companion Animal customers and further support our vision of Advancing Nourishment of the World's Pets. We are delighted to announce that our Companion Animal Plant at Trouw Nutrition GB, located in the heart of the Peak District, is now certified to the FSSC 22000 (version 6) standard! This reaffirms our commitment to strict food safety practices in accordance with the FSSC 22000 standard, industry-specific PRP technical specification requirements, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), as well as regulatory and Codex Alimentarius requirements.
