We're on the look out for an Apprentice Engineering Fitter to join our Engineering team! The successful candidate will work at our busy manufacturing plant in Farnham, HG5 9JR, whilst studying for a 4-year Engineering Fitter Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification at York College. Typically, Engineering Fitters produce, refurbish, modify or redesign high value, low volume components. Here at Treves UK, this would involve the repair, maintenance and modification of bespoke tooling and equipment used to create automotive components for our customers BMW, Nissan, Toyota & Jaguar Land Rover. This is a really exciting opportunity to become immersed in the practical, hands-on aspects of the role by working alongside our extremely talented and experienced engineering team, whilst simultaneously learning the theoretical side of the role from your tutors at York College. We're looking for a candidate with a real interest in tooling, excellent communication skills and an inquiring mind. You'll be a strong team player, with a genuine willingness to learn and enthusiastic about the opportunity and the career path this position could open up for you! A big thank you to Jules Martins, who is leaving us today to return to France after a 3 month work experience placement with us here at Treves UK. Jules has done some excellent work, under the guidance of Tom Penninck, our Senior Applications Engineer, on the Jaguar Land Rover L384 project and we'll be sad to see him leave. Au revoir Jules - merci et bonne chance!

Saturday 8 March was International Women's Day and Treves UK celebrated the incredible contributions of women not just in our own plants, but throughout the world. We were delighted to host a visit for two special guests earlier this month. Laure Bevierre, our HR VP and Gaetane Meysmans-Saez, our Region's HR Director flew in from France to join us for a plant tour and presentation covering a number of HR topics. We took the opportunity to share with them the key improvements made both within our plant and in our practices over the last year. Thank you to all those who contributed during their visit.

Thanks to the generosity of our team we were able to make a donation to the Trussell Trust yesterday evening. We collected throughout the month, in the style of a Reverse Advent Calendar, and were able to deliver a range of food and toiletries to a local food bank, to help out those most in need this Christmas. Thank you for your kindness to everyone who contributed. Merry Christmas!
