We had our Top 50 strategic suppliers join us for a business and strategy update last week at Northampton Saints. We shared the Toolstation performance over the last 12 months, how we have delivered on our commitments and what our growth plans are for the next 6 months. It was a great opportunity to demonstrate our successes against the promises we have made to them, our customers and colleagues. A huge thanks to the brilliant presentations from Angela Rushforth, John Danter, Alice Wise MCIPS, Kelly Dix, Jonathan Rendall, Paul Field and Chris Other. We also had awesome organisation from Lily Carmichael, John Reading and Scott Beighton. It's great to have a team aligned to a plan and delivering, with our partners, successfully.

Since 2021, we’ve been proud to partner with VIY, helping young people who have stepped away from education gain trade skills and qualifications. In 2024, our support helped transform community spaces and set young people on the path to brighter futures. 🔵 5 VIY projects co-funded by Toolstation  🔵 130 young people took part  🔵 82 earned a City & Guilds Entry Level 3 accreditation 🔵 10% progressed into further education, training, or employment  🔵 50% are now considering a career in construction It’s amazing to see the difference VIY is making, and we’re excited for more opportunities to get involved in 2025! 💪 #VIY #ConstructionCareers #Toolstation #MakingADifference

Excellent to be able to support young people learning trade skills at Craven College! 🦺 A huge thanks to Louise H., Andy Shuttleworth & Vicki Cartmail for helping equip students with course-required products, hi vis jackets, and organising supplier training days. Talking about the relationship, Louise said “It’s great to give the students hands-on experience with the products so that they have the knowledge when they go out onto placement or even straight into the world of work on their own. We have a fantastic relationship with all of the staff and I love seeing the engagement of the students with staff, especially the suppliers when they visit. It’s great to see such development of the future of our construction industry and the growth of the department within the college.” 🤝

Last week, we held our Regional Roadshows—10 events across the country, bringing together our Store Managers, Distribution teams and Support Function colleagues. It was fantastic to connect in person, share stories, celebrate successes and talk about how we are going to deliver a really successful Spring and Summer season 💪.
