So we understand first-hand the challenges you face every day. Strategic consultancy - What do you want to achieve for your organisation? Greater efficiency and effectiveness? More income? Real growth? We want to work in close partnership with you to bring your vision for your organisation to life. And to help you meet new challenges with fresh solutions. The problem is that experienced not-for-profit professionals don’t grow on trees. THINK’s sister company, THOUGHT Support, can access our extensive network of not-for-profit professionals to bring you exactly the right person for as long as you need them. • In case you missed it, the World Happiness Report for 2025 was released a few weeks back and confirmed what many of us in the charity sector already know: giving, volunteering, and helping others boosts wellbeing - not just for recipients, but for givers too. So fundraising doesn't just fund impact — it is impact in itself! What a great reminder, especially during tough times, that fundraising and supporter engagement are acts of social good. This year’s findings create a powerful case for building campaigns around connection, purpose, and kindness. Definitely worth a read 👇

At THINK Recruitment, when we place a candidate in a new role our support doesn't stop there. Coaching for candidates has been part of our recruitment package since the start. Every candidate placed through THINK Recruitment has three sessions with transformational coach Matt Middler. This can help with employee retention - a fifth of new employees leave within the first 45 days, coaching can help avoid that turnover by: 👉 Providing stability through transitionary periods 👉 Supporting goal setting and developing plans to achieve goals 👉 Overcoming barriers and challenges We are proud to work with Matt and offer this to our recruitment clients as standard across all roles. We know from feedback that candidates see this investment by their future employer favourably, investing in them before they even join their new organisation. If you have any questions about THINK Recruitment, or need support with recruiting now please reach out to Jo McGuinness MInstF(Dip) or Jason Jederon for a chat. #coaching #recruitment #charityjobs

Quote from a recently placed candidate:
“Starting a new job can be daunting, ... it felt like a good gesture from my new employer that I'm not just here to fill a role, but to also develop professionally.

You can talk about anything that is troubling you in your professional life. I was given lots of great tools to help overcome all the topics I brought up.”
  • We are delighted to welcome Jason Jederon to the THINK team. Jason joins us as Recruitment Consultant working across both THINK Recruitment and THINK Interim.   He brings almost 20 years of recruitment experience having recruited in a range of industries including finance, banking, digital and - crucially - in charity and fundraising.   Last year we added permanent recruitment to the range of services THINK offers to charities; we're thrilled to add Jason’s expertise to the team and look forward to supporting many more charities going forward.

We're launching something new for legacy professionals… After 20 years of running trusted peer-to-peer groups across the sector, we’re thrilled to be launching our first ever Legacy Forum  - a dedicated space for those working in charity legacy giving to connect, collaborate, and learn together. To kick things off, we’re hosting a free taster session on 28th April, focused on one of the most critical yet often under-discussed topics: How do you build a true legacy culture within your organisation? This session will explore key insights from our recent blog (bit.ly/42mqbGx) and create space for real conversation, sharing challenges, solutions, and perspectives with others who are leading and learning in the legacy space. Spaces are limited, so if you're interested in attending please get in touch with Emma O'Reilly or Amanda Warhaftig as soon as possible to secure your spot. No commitment, just an opportunity to see if the Forum could be a valuable space for you.

  • THINK, and specifically THINK Recruitment are proud to be a founding member of the We Show the Salary campaign launched today! 👉 Fewer than 4 in 10 job ads in the UK show salary information 👉 56% of job seekers are unlikely to apply for a role where salary information isn't shared 👉 Showing salary info on job ads can help level pay gaps We are proud to be founding members, both as an employer ourselves, and in supporting our recruitment clients and job seekers. Find out more, and join the pledge, though the link in the comments. #showthesalary #recruitment #jobseeking

    • We Show the Salary and THINK logo:
Keeping salaries hidden creates unnecessary barriers, fuels inequality and makes job hunting way more stressful than it needs to be. By putting salary details on all our job ads, we are starting as we mean to go on in the recruitment process. People deserve to know what a job pays before they apply - we think its that simple.
Jo McGuinness, Senior Recruitment Manager, THINK Recruitment
  • Legacy giving isn’t just a fundraising tactic - it’s a culture shift. With more than £4.1bn given through legacies last year and forecasts hitting £10bn by 2050, gifts in wills are one of the most vital income streams for charities. But here’s the challenge: too often, legacy giving sits solely with the fundraising team, underfunded and under-supported. In our latest blog post, THINK's Amanda Warhaftig and Emma O'Reilly explore how to embed legacy giving across your entire organisation - from securing leadership buy-in to empowering staff and volunteers, and making legacies part of everyday conversations. If you want to build long-term sustainability through legacy gifts, this one’s for you. Read the full post here: bit.ly/42mqbGx Want more insights like this delivered straight to your inbox?
