✍️✨ #AIDiscussions #Reflexiones #ThirdSector #EthicalPractices

  • Have you subscribed to the Fix yet? This month, our new newsletter, now on its third edition (its second here on LinkedIn!), highlights the fight for voice, funding, and freedom. Globally, we're witnessing an escalation of tactics designed to silence our sector, to halt our impact, and to roll back hard-won gains in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Without funding, advocacy is stifled and essential services vanish. That’s why we're here: to equip you with the tools, strategies, and networks to push back, build financial resilience, and sustain movements. Financial resilience isn’t just about survival, it's about resistance. Dive into the Fix to stay informed, get inspired, and access free resources. • Navigating rapid growth, fame, and change—while responding to an urgent humanitarian crisis—means adapting ways of working and adopting an agile mindset. In less than a year, Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) grew its annual income from GBP £10m to over GBP £50m. The organisation went from having a small, niche, and dedicated supporter base to attracting tens of thousands of new supporters from more than 150 countries. This week I'm rolling out my blog post before my newsletter because: a. Newsletter isn't done. It's too snowy still in Stratford so I'm feeling blue. b. I'm working on a strategic plan refresh for a client this week too busy. But I've had this blog post in the cue for a couple of weeks and I just HAD to share it. There is so much good information and resources in the webinar I've written about that I couldn't wait to share it with you. A couple of weeks ago I attended a webinar hosted by the The Resource Alliance and presented by Daisy O'Reilly-Weinstock and it blew my mind. This webinar provided validation, resources and so many fabulous insights for what is happening to me, my community and my state of mind lately. If it feels like the world is in constant crisis, you're not alone.   From war to economic turmoil to climate collapse, it’s no wonder many of us feel like we’re living through a polycrisis—we actually are. The whole mess can leave one feeling hopeless.   We’re becoming a society of “exhausted, disconnected & apathetic post-people.” She referenced a term that captures this mood—anhedonia—the inability to enjoy things that once brought pleasure. Sound familiar?   But this session wasn’t about wallowing. It was a call to action. The central message: HOPE IS A VERB. It's not passive. It’s something we do, something we build—together. So for a small taste check out my summary of what I took away from Daisy's webinar: Navigating Cultural Trends - How Non-profits Can Adapt in Uncertain Times. And then follow the links within it to join The Resource Alliances's Global community. Run into trouble reach out to James Tennet and he will set you up. But first - my take aways. (HINT: HOPE IS A VERB!) If it feels like the world is in constant crisis, you're not alone.   From war to economic turmoil to climate collapse, it’s no wonder many of us feel like we’re living through a polycrisis—we actually are. It is a truth universally acknowledged that fundraising is among the biggest struggles for nonprofit organisations, and fundraisers frequently struggle with impossible asks, tight deadlines, and feelings of isolation. At ILSS, we believe that fundraising is the engine of social impact and fundraisers are essential evangelists for our work. Current trends in the global funding landscape mark this as a particularly pivotal moment to reimagine existing approach to fundraising. With over 700 nonprofit leaders, fundraisers, funders, and ecosystem enablers attending the India Fundraising Conference 2025 held earlier this year, the social sector is now gearing up to invest in this critical function. Hear our speakers and attendees decode fundraising for social impact in the full event video: https://lnkd.in/gkdgc7FZ Anu Prasad | Archana Ramachandran | Willeke van Rijn | Sanjeev Bikhchandani | Cat O Broin | The Resource Alliance | A.T.E.
