Exploring the Journey of Inter-Generational Wealth This month, we had the privilege of hosting an inspiring panel discussion in collaboration with Independent Women (part of Forvis Mazars UK) and C. Hoare & Co. Our co-founder, Michelle Yue, was joined by a powerhouse panel: 💡 Amy Rodwell – Partner & family member, C. Hoare & Co. 💡 Zoe Davies – Partner, Head of UK Tax Advisory & London Head of Privately Owned Business, Forvis Mazars 💡 Dr. Sally Harris – National GP, HCA Healthcare & Advisor to the League Managers Association Together, they explored the evolving role of women in wealth management and the challenges of navigating financial transitions across generations. Our key takeaways are: Women are increasingly taking the lead in managing wealth - both inherited and self-made—and financial transparency and open conversations are key to sustaining this wealth. 🗣️ Legacy, philanthropy, and impact investing are top priorities for many women. Family governance structures - including regular meetings and financial education - help ensure smooth wealth transitions. The wealth management industry must do more to recognise and support vulnerable clients. Significant wealth can bring real vulnerabilities, including mental health challenges, which may lead to harm or the underutilisation of opportunities like purpose-driven capital.
