Down in our busy workshop, we have many MCC’s which have an HMI (Human-Machine Interface) that connects the system to a person. Team Te-Tech Process Solutions are key players within the water industry, and just like us an HMI plays a crucial role in monitoring and controlling equipment used in water treatment and distribution processes. The HMI interacts with the PLC to give operators centralised control over these systems. An HMI allows operators to: º View real-time and historic data from machines and sensors º Control machinery (e.g., start/stop pumps) º Monitor alarms and faults º Configure parameters (like motor speed, setpoints) º Visualise processes through diagrams or animations What are the benefits of using HMI in MCCs? º Improves operational efficiency º Reduces downtime with fast troubleshooting º Enhances safety with real-time alerts º Centralises control and monitoring º Enables smarter decision-making Have you got questions about our MCC's and System Integration? If so, pop us an email enquiries@te-tech.co.uk #MCC #Automation #HMI

Great to see the progress being made at Toton Sewage Treatment Works, where we’ve been proud to support Severn Trent and Coffey with the supply of the MCC and follow-on works as part of a major site upgrade. #MCC #Automation #WasteWaterTreatment
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐓𝐖 𝐔𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 Coffey is working in partnership with Severn Trent on a significant upgrade to the Toton Sewage Treatment Works (STW) in the UK. This project will relocate the final effluent discharge point directly to the river, improving efficiency and environmental performance. We’ve now turned flows and successfully tested the new pipeline - a key milestone for the project. Final finishes to the Final Effluent Pumping Station (FEPS) are currently being completed, with permanent flows set to be turned in the coming days. Well done to everyone on site for driving progress safely and professionally. Te-Tech Process Solutions, Wright Engineering, Freeflow Pipesystems, Active Tunnelling Ltd

A few weeks ago our Installation Site Team installed MCC01 and they are at it again with MCC03! We're proud to have designed and manufactured three new Motor Control Centres (MCCs) and completed system integration for the upgraded Inlet Works at a Sewage Treatment Works. This project supports the AMP7 scheme, addressing stricter sanitary permits for BOD, NH₃, and P, while also accommodating an increase in Dry Weather Flow (DWF) permit. Last, but no means least, MCC02 has completed its successful CFAT and will be shipped in the coming weeks, ready for installation. Watch. This. Space #WaterIndustry #SystemIntegration #MCC

Our Site Installation Team have been busy bees the past few weeks with this set to continue into April. This sewage pumping station MCC with PLC & HMI will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition as one STW is being decommissioned and flows are redirected to another. Here’s how our solution supports our customer: 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 & 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. The MCC, integrated with a PLC and HMI, will provide real-time monitoring and control of the pumping process. This ensures efficient and reliable flow management. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 With tighter regulations coming in AMP8, closing the smaller STW and transferring flows to the larger, more capable treatment works will avoid costly upgrades while ensuring environmental targets are met. This project highlights the importance of automation and smart pumping solutions in wastewater management #WaterTreatment #Automation
