Last week saw the launch of our second new store of 2025 in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. 👏 As well as being our 82nd Retail Park store, our new Superdrug boasts a 116ft cosmetics aisle with all our latest brands and customer favourites, a 32ft fragrance counter and dedicated Beauty Studio, offering nail and lash treatments. The ribbon was cut by Store Manager Jess, supported by new Assistant Manager Jayne, along with members of the executive and regional management team. A massive thank you to everyone who has helped deliver this fantastic new store! ✨ Ramadan Iftar 2025: More Than Colleagues, We Are Family ✨🌙 In Team MA yesterday, We were honored to host our team members in Central London for a remarkable Ramadan Iftar event. In an atmosphere filled with warmth, laughter, and shared moments, we were reminded that the true spirit of Ramadan lies in unity, kindness, and generosity. Great moments the way Team paid tribute to colleagues Fasting this Ramdhan. Our Area managers Darren Martin participated to show Solidarity and Respect .I am so proud of my Team the way we promote multi cultural activities and respect of each others . Taking time out to treat the team to celebrate Iftar may seem small, but it makes a big impact. The iftar party serves as a wonderful opportunity for us to come together, break our fasts, and celebrate in a spirit of unity and gratitude. This gathering symbolized not just the spirit of Ramadan, but also the deep-rooted legacy of diversity in Team Central , reflecting on our shared values of collaboration, respect , and tolerance . We came together not just to break our fast but to celebrate the bonds that make us more than just colleagues—we are friends, we are family. Thank you Superdrug stores for turning yellow and hosting an amazing weekend of fundraising for the Great Daffodil Appeal. We’re also celebrating Superdrug raising over £1 million for Marie Curie through Pennies. Thank you to Superdrug customers for topping up their in-store purchases with a 20p donation! Last week, the Gender Equality network across Savers Health Home & Beauty and Superdrug came together to host an International Women’s Day event, all about 'Women in Male Dominated Fields' 💙✨ We delved into the strengths, challenges, and milestones faced by three of our very own - Clare Jennings, Jacqueline Joel and Clare Webster. It was inspiring to hear all of the insights and wisdom you kindly shared, as well as thinking about how we can continue to #Unlearn. We finished the event off with an expressive painting activity, titled 'What does womanhood mean to you?' 💙 Unlearn is about celebrating the journey we have been on so far, how far we have come together and what we can do next - helping each other to grow, to inspire, to understand and, most importantly, to be ourselves.
