March, you’ve been a whirlwind (in the best way). 🎉 We kicked things off with a studio refresh - new paint, new furniture, and a new energy in our collaborative space. All just in time to welcome clients for an exciting presentation here at the studio! We also had the absolute joy of welcoming back a familiar face, Elly (and bump!) has returned from the Falklands and slotted straight back into studio life like she never left. It’s great to have her back in Harrogate with the team. Just in time to celebrate Studio 93's 5th birthday! 🎂 And we’re wrapping up the month with another exciting addition, Vicky, has joined us as our newest interior designer, already bringing her warmth, creativity, and sharp eye to the team. We’re currently working on a heritage property refurbishment in the heart of Harrogate! 📍 While it’s a commercial space, we’re weaving in elements of the building’s rich history to create a refined, residential-inspired feel. Including statement tile features, premium soft finishes, and a design that seamlessly balances heritage with sophistication. We’re looking forward to seeing this project take shape! 🤩

From the moment customers walk through the door, every detail plays a role in shaping their impression of a brand. Lighting sets the mood, guiding the eye to key products and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Materials and textures add depth, while thoughtful layouts encourage customers to explore and linger. Even subtle design choices, like the flow of foot traffic or the acoustics of a space, can make a big difference. We design immersive environments that not only look great but also help boost engagement and sales. Our studio has had a refresh! 🌿 Following our first year in the studio, we’ve learned how to make the space work best for us. That meant it was time for a refresh, starting with the space we refer to as the ‘Library’ (which is a nice way of saying it’s where we store our ever-growing sample collection!). But it’s more than that - it’s where we collaborate, create, and present to our clients. With a snazzy new table from Ocee & Four Design, a fresh coat of paint, and a thoughtful furniture shuffle, the space now feels more us than ever. And this is just the beginning! Luxury isn’t always about spending more, it’s about using design details that make a space feel rich and inviting. And one of our favourite tricks? Texture. 🤩 From soft velvets and woven fabrics to warm wood grains and matte finishes, layering different textures adds depth and character. It’s how we create spaces that feel more expensive than they are, without relying on high-end price tags. The secret is in incorporating materials that contrast and complement each other. A sleek surface next to something tactile instantly makes a room feel more considered (and more luxurious).
