Stonepeak has agreed to acquire a 40% interest in Woodside Energy’s Louisiana LNG, a fully permitted liquefied natural gas production and export terminal that will be constructed on the U.S. Gulf Coast. We continue to believe in the long-term role of natural gas – and in its transportation as LNG – in the transformation of the global energy system, and believe Louisiana LNG is positioned well to bring significant additional U.S. capacity online in the coming years. We look forward to working with best-in-class partners in Woodside and Bechtel, leveraging our deep experience in natural gas investing and across the entire energy value chain, to bring this impactful project through construction and into operation.
