The Committee for Economic Development has appointed Justin Bellinger as Chair of the new Innovate Guernsey Board, which has been established to support the delivery of the island’s digital economy vision and to implement a Guernsey Innovation Plan under the wider Digital Framework.   Mr. Bellinger currently serves as Director of NionNet, Non-Executive Director of Guernsey Electricity and Director of the Guernsey Chamber of Commerce. Speaking about the appointment, he said: “I’m very much looking forward to working with my fellow Board members and stakeholders across the island to help drive innovation, attract investment, and support sustainable economic growth — tapping into the rich vein of ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit that has long been part of Guernsey’s culture." More than 22,000 polling cards have been delivered to anyone who was registered on the Electoral Roll by Thursday 27th March. Polling cards are proof that you are registered on the Electoral Roll and will make the process of voting at a polling station quicker if you take it with you. If you don’t take your polling card with you, you will still be able to vote but it may take longer to find your name on the Roll. Anyone registering after 27th March will receive their polling card during the week of 5th May 2025. There are currently 23,501 people registered on the Electoral Roll, with a little over three weeks to go.
