Our engineers successfully relocated their 126kW N+1 Riello Multipower to a new building, upgraded their battery capacity, installed new plinths to suit the raised floor, and managed the full installation and commissioning. To guarantee uninterrupted operations, the hire UPS remains at the original site until the customer's full IT migration is complete. With full power module and battery redundancy plus 30 minutes of autonomy, the hire UPS seamlessly matches their existing setup. Keeping Our Emergency Services Powered! ⚡🚓🚒 Our streets might not always be safe, but ensuring our emergency services have reliable backup power? That’s a mission we take seriously! Since 2008, a Riello UPS Ltd MST 100kVA UPS has been working behind the scenes, supporting critical power for emergency services in Lancashire. But after 16 years of loyal service, it was time for an upgrade! This week, we installed a brand-new Riello Sentryum 120kVA UPS, complete with a battery enclosure housing x40 GS Yuasa Battery Sales UK Ltd NPL65-12s, ensuring seamless, uninterrupted power when it’s needed most. 🌧️ What a washout recently 🌧️ In September, Bedfordshire (home to Specialist Power HQ) experienced its wettest month on record since 1940! Despite the challenges, our amazing engineers carried on, showing resilience and determination. One notable project tested our problem-solving skills: A 60kVA Riello UPS Ltd Sentryum UPS delivery was delayed due to severe flooding and had to be rescheduled after the water receded. Once on-site, a plinth had to be constructed to ensure safe installation access. The electrical installation and system positioning were handled by our client, while our team tackled the battery build and commissioning. To ensure seamless communication, we equipped the UPS with a MultiCom 384 and Netman 208 card, delivering a robust and reliable setup. 💪 Challenges faced, challenges overcome.
