Sustainability doesn’t end at energy generation - it means extending the life of every component or giving it new purpose elsewhere. That’s the circular economy in action. At our advanced repair workshop in Albacete, Spain, we’ve already given a second life to more than 18,000 renewable energy components. By helping wind and solar operators lower emissions, and extend asset life, we’re showing how innovation in maintenance can drive real impact. With demand rising, we’re now scaling this approach globally. We’ll be sharing more about this model - and how we’re helping reshape service strategies - at WindEurope in Copenhagen this week. You’ll find us in Hall D. Please drop by for a coffee and a chat. https://bit.ly/3XOQfse #RES #WindEurope2025 #CircularEconomy

Lowering OPEX while improving performance in a safe and sustainable way is a challenge every wind farm operator faces. Data can play an important role in overcoming this challenge, but are we truly making the most of it? In our latest blog, we explore how high-frequency data, expert analysis and digital solutions are transforming wind farm operations. From optimising turbine performance to extending component lifespan, the potential is huge. Read the full blog - https://bit.ly/420A4e4 Next week, we will be delving into these topics at WindEurope Copenhagen, where we’re proud to be the Digitalisation Content Partner. Our CEO of Services, Juan Gutierrez, will chair the debate on ‘Digitalising for more energy’, where panellists will explore how digitalisation is transforming the wind energy sector and share their insights on maximising energy yield. If you’re attending, visit our RES Lounge, grab a coffee, and meet our team, spanning the full lifecycle – from development and construction to asset management, O&M and digital solutions. We’re excited to connect and explore how our services can add value to your portfolio. #WindEurope2025 #Digitalisation WindEurope

Today, we're proud to announce the sale of our 184 MWdc Big Sky Solar project in Alberta, Canada, to TotalEnergies. We're also looking forward to more collaboration with TotalEnergies as they will acquire an additional 600 MW in wind and solar projects developed by RES in the province. Now fully operational, Big Sky is expected to generate enough clean energy to power over 42,000 homes while offsetting 135,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually. A huge thank you to our teams and partners for making this happen—you are driving the transition to a cleaner energy future across Canada. Read more about the news here https://bit.ly/43Cw8kW

We are extremely proud to share that Dennis Thorlund Elsberg, Vice President of HSQE at RES has been elected to the Board of Directors at the Global Wind Organisation, one of the most influential and globally recognised safety and training organisations, not just for wind, but increasingly for the broader renewables sector, including solar. According to Dennis, "Joining the GWO Board allows us to bring that commitment to the global stage – helping shape a safer, more capable workforce across technologies. This is about more than compliance – it’s about creating a culture where people thrive. And for RES, it’s another way we deliver #PowerforGood". As a member of GWO, we are further strengthening our commitment to raising safety and training standards, ensuring that our teams receive top-quality training while contributing to the global development of skills in the sector. Thanks to the GWO team for their commitment to this important challenge! Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/d99iwwFu

Chile is a key player in the energy transition, thanks to its strong commitment to decarbonisation, unique geography and rich natural resources. These advantages have enabled the country to diversify its energy mix with innovative technologies such as battery storage, while also adopting digital solutions to optimise energy production. This week, Renato Rafael Machado dos Santos, Director of RES in Latin America, had the opportunity to share how we are driving innovation and supporting the Chilean market at #EnergyearChile during the panel ‘O&M 4.0: Operational Efficiency and Digital Solutions for Solar Projects.’ We began operations in the Chilean wind sector in 2012 with just seven people. Today, with over 100 employees and supporting more than 3GW of renewable assets in the region, we are a trusted partner to our clients. Our services extend beyond operations and maintenance, offering global expertise in asset management and digital solutions that maximise both the technical and financial performance of assets. Renewable projects don’t happen overnight. They take collaboration and effort - not just to get started, but to deliver lasting value. The partnership between Innagreen Investments and RES exemplifies how working together drives meaningful impact. The Hilda Wind Farm in Alberta is a great example. Completed in 2023, the 104MW wind farm powers over 50,000 homes and supports Alberta’s goal of achieving 30% renewable energy by 2030. RES led the construction and helped secure federal investment, ensuring a smooth transition to operation. Today, we continue to support the project through long-term asset management and operations and maintenance, helping Innagreen maximise performance and revenue over its lifecycle. This partnership demonstrates how investment expertise and technical know-how can come together to create meaningful impact in renewable energy.
