It’s been a week now since I returned from a 10 day trip to China visiting our key suppliers for analogue and electric bikes. We’re fortunate at Reid Bikes Limited to have a fantastic supply base who understand our vision and needs and who work tirelessly to help us execute this vision. Seeing our 2026 samples was awesome - we can’t wait to showcase these at EUROBIKE this year on our biggest stand yet. If you follow Reid on socials we’ll be dropping teasers of new products leading up to the show 😉 We are in constant communication with our suppliers, but nothing beats face to face meetings and finessing the small and nuanced details in person with a frame and set of calipers - it’s this level of detail that helps our Reid bikes punch above their weight in design, quality and finish. Thanks to all who hosted us during our visit and to Rob and Leon who understand the importance of being on the ground, in the factories when designing and developing new product - we can’t wait to showcase our new range to the world!

This years theme for International Women’s Day is ‘Accelerate Action’ 🚴♀️ This theme was very on brand for both speakers at yesterdays Uplift industry event: Fran Millar CEO of Rapha and Christine O'Connell Founder of One More City. Both women were incredibly inspirational in their own ways, generously sharing their journeys to becoming pioneering women in the cycling industry. Beth Nash, our Marketing Manager and Kate Parsons, our Marketing Executive, came away with two key takeaways: ⭐️ALWAYS show up as your authentic self and lean into your unique strengths ⭐️Cycling is much more than just a competitive sport, and can bring SO much to our everyday lives: joy, resilience, confidence and community to name a few. So in short, get out on that bike more!
