We are delighted to share the news that Dr Mumtaz Patel has been elected as the 123rd President of our organisation, the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Patel, a Consultant Nephrologist, brings over two decades of RCP experience to the role, alongside a deep commitment to clinical excellence, strategic leadership, and a values-driven approach. Her election marks a significant milestone as the first President of South Asian heritage and only the fifth woman to hold this esteemed position. Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the Gather LCR annual Leadership Gathering at Spaces at The Spine, where industry leaders convened to explore ‘Culture as a Catalyst for Strategy and Growth’. The event took place on Floor twelve, culminating in a drinks reception in The Atrium – the perfect backdrop to network and reflect on the meeting’s content in an informal way, whilst enjoying sunset views over Liverpool. Last week we were here, there and everywhere promoting our incredible venue 🙌 It's time for a #ThrowbackThursday! We started at Delta Hotels by Marriott Liverpool City Centre, where our Sales & Marketing Executive attended The PA Hub Limited showcase. From large conferences to private dinner events with a view, Jenn introduced Spaces at The Spine to over 40 key event bookers on the lookout for a venue for their next events. Our Sales team was then off to the iconic Beatles Story to take part in the Liverpool Hospitality (Association) Agent evening 💜 This was our second year attending this event. As always, we had the opportunity to connect with agents from across the country and showcase all that Liverpool has to offer. We love getting out and chatting all things Spaces at The Spine.
