We’re back at the coffee shop again, looking at how to continue making enhancements. We’ve already identified some business improvement opportunities through #Wardleymapping (https://lnkd.in/exgU-nss) but would now like to understand more about what our customers and people experience, and where there may be potential to improve. Knowing all the steps your customers take in different scenarios, and what is needed to support those actions across people, process and tech, as well as legislation, internal business rules, health and safety regulations and many other potential constraints, is really useful. Additionally, knowing where the steps in the journey might encounter friction or breakpoints, also known as pain points, can help you identify where to focus and prioritise improvement efforts. Starting to get clarity on the bigger picture of where to act and why is extremely powerful and helps your business make informed and evidence-based decisions. Welcome to the world of Service Blueprinting. #change #transformation #servicedesign

In 1947, engineers working on the Harvard Mark II computer were stumped by a glitch. The cause? ... A moth. Trapped in a relay. Fried. Jammed the system. They logged it in their notebook as the “first actual case of a bug being found.” Yes—an actual bug. The term stuck. And while most of today’s bugs are virtual, not all of them are technical. In change programmes, the real bugs often hide in the culture: - The “that’s not my job” - The “we’ve always done it this way” - The ghost processes nobody questions - The silent resistance no one names You can patch the system all you like—but if the culture's full of bugs, the change won’t stick. So before you debug the tech, check in with your team. 🤘 #changemanagement #digitaltransformation #culture #techhistory Influence by____ Dr Nicola Millard Kate Raworth

It’s what happens when you give people the space to solve problems." - Christina Hammond-Aziz | CEO | Rainmaker Thanks so much for having us at Global Government Forum and hats off to the fantastic panel - Richard Puttick John Laverick Leanne Cummings and Louise Harris (moderating) ❤️

"Let’s stick to what we know." Sounds safe, right? Buuuuuttttt ... ... when it comes to growth, this mindset is the slow poison that unravels businesses. Why? Because scaling isn’t just about getting bigger—it’s about getting better. And that means embracing the chaos, not hiding from it. Here’s where it goes wrong: Loss of Control – More people, more decisions. If you love a tight ship, scaling feels like a wrecking ball hit it. Fear of Dilution – “What if we become just another corporate machine?” The fear of losing culture freezes growth. Operational Strain – More customers = more headaches. Systems that can’t handle it make growth feel like a ticking time bomb. Decision Paralysis – Big decisions feel risky, so some businesses choose to do nothing. But that’s a choice, and it’s often the wrong one. Short-Term Thinking – Growth requires long-term investment. Focusing only on short-term wins will limit your success. Imposter Syndrome – "Are we ready for this?" Trust that you’ve earned your place—own it. How do you scale without chaos? 01 Know Your Identity – Growth changes you, but don’t lose what made you great. 02 Keep Innovation at the Core – Don’t wait for perfect timing—just launch, learn, and adjust. 03 Decentralise Decision-Making – Trust your team; micromanaging doesn’t work at scale. 04 Harness Your Culture – Scale your culture, don’t dilute it. 05 Invest in Infrastructure – Build systems before you need them. 06 Purpose and Values Matter – Scale with intent and stay true to what matters. Scaling is messy, but get it right, and it’s the most exciting thing you’ll ever do. Need help? Let’s talk. #Leadership #Growth #AgileTransformation #DigitalInnovation Influenced by_____ Justin Welsh Jean Chatzky Anthony Pompliano

You’re in a meeting. Someone says “orchestrating a frictionless omnichannel experience.” Someone else nods along and adds “harnessing AI for hyperautomation.” You glance at your Buzzword Bingo card—just one more for a full house. Then, it happens: “transformative synergy.” BINGO! You win… another 12 months of overcomplicated change that misses the point. Here’s the thing. We love naming the next big trend—AI transformation, Web3 adoption, and generative-first economies. But most of these trends are just new labels for the same old problems. And if you don’t nail the fundamentals, it won’t matter what you call it. So, what actually works? - Forget the trend, focus on the problem. Digital transformation? Service design? AI integration? Doesn’t matter. What problem are you solving? If you can’t explain that clearly, no amount of rebranding will help. - Understand the moving parts. No change exists in isolation. Your customers, your market, your tech stack, even your compliance requirements—if you don’t map these out, you’re just rolling the dice and hoping for the best. - Time changes everything. AI today is not AI in five years. Customer expectations shift. Economic shocks happen. The best change strategies aren’t built to be ‘future-proof’—they’re built to adapt. - A new label won’t fix a bad approach. You can call it a “digital revolution”, a “next-gen transformation”, or “Steve.” If you don’t get the execution right, it’s just a new name for an old failure. So next time someone says, “We need to be on the cutting edge of Synnervation Theory,” just ask: Are we solving a real problem, or just playing Bingo? #NoMoreBuzzwords #DigitalTransformation #Leadership #Innovation #FutureOfWork #Strategy #PracticalTransformation Influenced by ________ THE AI ANDY FITZE 🧠⛵ ☑️ Kevin S. 🚜 Would you encourage your kids to become farmers? (Probably not) And that’s the problem. AI, robotics, and automation are reshaping it—but most people still see it as low-tech, low-pay, and hard work. That perception is costing the industry big time. So, how do you make farming a career of the future? 👉 Swipe to see why farming needs a rebrand—and how tech is the key. Influenced by____ Lely Atlantic Ltd.
