About us

London’s longest standing independently owned Michelin starred restaurant, Pied à Terre on Charlotte Street has held a star for 31 consecutive years. We pride ourselves on outstanding and innovative food, informative yet relaxed and personable service, and one of the best wine cellars in the capital. In addition to our elegant dining room at our Fitzrovian townhouse, we also have 3 private dining spaces. Pied à Terre is owned and run by founder David Moore. Executive Chef Phil Kearsey is a Saucier, obsessed with the quality of his sauces which have incredible depth of flavour to accompany his modern British dishes with classical French technique. He is uncompromising in his use of hyper seasonal ingredients in the pursuit of culinary perfection. We offer omnivore, vegetarian and plant-based menus and we do not restrict tables to the same menu. We also run masterclasses (pasta, ceviche and tartare, and plant-based) and host kitchen experiences.
