Ending the four day week on a high with a visit from our friends at Highways Magazine. 👏 We started the day with a trip down memory lane - visiting the local village store where our story began almost 15 years ago. The day continued with some insightful conversations around our growth story, the people behind Multevo, and what's to come for the future. 💡 It's times like these where we sit back and think about the journey we've been on since 2010 - something we're all very proud of. Delivering More for Less with the Multihog Since January, we’ve been supporting a local authority with a rural ditching and grip cutting programme using our Multihog MH, an multi-purpose, all-terrain machine ideal for drainage clearance and highway maintenance. Working as one integrated in-house team, we’ve delivered: ✔️ Up to 500 linear metres of ditching per shift ✔️ Full in-house traffic management, grip cutting & ditching ✔️ Futureproofed roads against surface water damage This approach is driving real efficiencies while supporting long-term sustainability across the network. 🚧 Emergency Works | Vicars Cross Road, Chester On Tuesday 1st April, a serious incident involving a tractor and tanker crashing into two terraced homes caused extensive damage to both the properties and the surrounding road surface. Just two days later, on Thursday 3rd April, we were called upon by a local authority to assist with urgent repair works. Our specialist machine-lay crew mobilised quickly and completed 120m² of high-quality resurfacing by Friday 4th April, ensuring the road was made safe for residents and road users as quickly as possible. We always aim to offer a quick, professional response to ensure safety and minimal disruption.

Our demo team were out on the road on Friday showcasing the CV 350 Sweeper to another local authority. Always a pleasure demonstrating how our kit gets the job done efficiently and effectively. The CV 350 is a compact, multi-purpose sweeper designed to deliver high suction performance and operational efficiency. Our Highways team have been working hard to keep #Sandwell moving. We know the condition of our roads is important to our residents and we wanted to show you how we’re tackling potholes on Sandwell’s roads.   We’re really proud that our performance on maintaining our roads and repairing potholes puts us in the top three local authorities nationally and the top in the Black Country.   And we can now fix potholes even faster. We have a new machine called a #Multihog – which allows us to prepare the road surface for repairs much more quickly, reducing the time it takes to fix a pothole– as well as significantly reducing the cost and, in many cases, the need for road closures.   Check out how we fixed these potholes in Wednesbury this week in a day – a job that would have taken several days before. We’re investing up to £55million in our highways this year and the new machine will help us limit disruption and fix road defects as quickly as possible. #WeAreSandwell #Roads Shokat Lal
