We begin this edition with a flour milling feature about 'Journey to Tortilla Perfection Eliminating Quality Issues' written by Rabia Tiryaki, Food Engineer, Bastak Instruments, Türkiye. For our readers that are particularly interested in the feed side of our magazine, we have an excellent story from Gary Kernaghan, Automation Manager, Technidrive Ltd, Northern Ireland, which talks about 'Reducing Environmental Impact Low Energy Costs with Automated Milling' As always, we have a packed event section this month with plenty for you to either catch-up on or prepare for, including a preview of VIV Turkey and a report on The 19th International Congress and Exhibition, organised by the Turkish Flour Industrialists' Federation (TUSAF), written by Mehmet Uğur Gürkaynak. Russia’s compound feed output projected to rise 7% in 2025 📈🐄🐓 Russia’s compound feed production is expected to increase by 7.1% in 2025 to 39 million tonnes 🏭🌾, according to the Compound Feed Producers Union.
