He has deep experience across a broad range of high yield and structured credit. He began his career at Chemical Bank where he helped launch the LBO, syndicated finance and high yield bond groups. He then joined Merrill Lynch where he founded the loan syndication business and ultimately headed Global Leveraged Finance. Mr. Yang’s investment management experience includes serving as Managing Partner at Highland Capital Management and subsequently Onex Credit Partners. Prior to co-founding Sycamore Tree, he was Head of the Americas and Global Head of Business Development at Alcentra Group. He served as a Director and/or Vice Chairman of the LSTA for over 10 years, and was also a board member of the Loan Market Association in Europe.
