London Stansted Airport welcomed a record-breaking 2.31million passengers in March! ✈️ 📈 We rounded-off our busiest ever winter season with 2.31m passengers taking to the skies in March, an increase of 7.5% on the same month last year. 👮 Operational performance in March remained strong, with 99% of passengers passing through security in 15 minutes or less. ⭐ The most popular countries for travellers across the winter were Spain, Italy and Germany with the top individual destinations being Dublin, Istanbul and Edinburgh. We're delighted to welcome AIR ALGÉRIE, a brand new airline and a new country added to London Stansted Airport's growing network! ✈️ Starting yesterday, the airline will operate four flights per week to Houari Boumediene Airport on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The service will be operated using Boeing 737 aircraft, offering business and economy seats. 💬 Gareth Powell, London Stansted’s Managing Director, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Air Algérie to London Stansted, marking an exciting milestone as we add both a new airline and a new country to our growing network. This week, our Business Continuity and Resilience Team hosted an event here at London Stansted Airport, bringing our airport community together to learn, grow, and enhance staff skills. ✈️ 👉 Over the course of the three-day event, we welcomed 1,380 individuals, with 750 of them being trained in CPR – equipping them with the life-saving skills to make a difference in critical situations. With the support of over 100 dedicated colleagues, we successfully created a meaningful impact, fostering a safer, more resilient community. 💙🤝
