📣 Lightrock has participated in a $258m funding round for Mainspring Energy to support the company's continued growth and growing impact!   🧲 Lightrock partnered with this designer and manufacturer of innovative fuel-flexible linear generators back in 2022. These generators use magnets to create motion, which is directly converted into electricity. They can seamlessly switch between various fuel qualities and types, including renewables like biogas, green hydrogen, and green ammonia.   🤝 Lightrock is pleased to be backing Mainspring alongside General Catalyst, the round leader, and other existing investors including LGT Private Banking, Khosla Ventures, and Bill Gates. This round also included Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund, Temasek, M&G plc, and DCVC, among others. 🎉 Congratulations to Shannon Miller and the wider Mainspring team for this latest milestone!   🔗 For more information, check out the Bloomberg linked in the comments.   Lightrock team: Kevin Bone, Oliver Sweeney, Sophie Lara N.
