Last night, Investigo and Popp co-hosted a practical discussion on the real impact of AI in talent acquisition—and it couldn’t have come at a better time.
With the pace of tech-driven change in TA, events like this are essential. They help us share best practices, shine a light on opportunities and risks, and ensure we’re embracing AI safely to elevate both TA professionals and candidates.
Some key reflections from the discussion:
🔹 TA leaders already using AI are saving one whole day a week – according to a LinkedIn survey of 1,000+ leaders. Most have started small with gateway options like co-pilot and notetakers, but the more ambitious are already realizing huge gains. Waiting for a legacy ATS to deliver on their "ambitious roadmap" is not a credible option.
🔹 Automating low-value tasks is already unlocking considerable time for high-impact work—more human engagement, brand-building, future workforce planning, and strategic business contributions including revenue growth. TA leaders' influence across their organisations is growing.
🔹 Used well, AI has the potential to drive more equitable hiring outcomes.
🔍 But of course, it’s not all smooth sailing. We heard real concerns about the safe procurement and implementation of AI tools. TA leaders need clear frameworks to assess utility, safety, and compliance as they explore new solutions.
🎁 Popp can help here, we have an AI Compliance Checklist of 200+ questions you should be asking. Comment "checklist" below, DM me, or book a call with Popp on our website and I'll send it your way.
