This program is oriented towards continuing developing leadership, management and communications skills to the most senior members of JD Spain, JD Portugal, Sprinter and Sport Zone Retail Teams. During this first session, we had the privilege of having Julio de la Iglesia with us. Julio is a Technician Specialist in Deactivation of Explosive Artifacts and one of the most prestigious coaches of the country, who taught us about fear management and decision making under pressure. The right mentorship can plant seeds that grow into something truly powerful🔥 We’ve teamed up with The Kickback Foundation to help Finding Your HeART power their game-changing community program. Kickback is a youth-led nonprofit movement that’s all about helping young people rewrite their stories and unlock their full potential. One of Kickback’s alums who’s making waves now is Finding Your HeART founder Deluxson Yogarajah. Delux has been working with youth since 2019 and has made his way through Kickback’s Youth Ambassadors program to found Finding Your HeART. This transformative mentor-assisted 3-part workshop is aimed at empowering youth in the Greater Toronto Area and helps them to express their emotions, and use art as a medium to manage their mental health. For this collaboration, JD Sports contributed to the purchase of 21 pairs of Nike Air Force 1s that participants could customize their own with guidance from professional artists 🎨. Sneakers are already a huge luxury for these kids, but being able to express their own story on them? That’s next level! The magic of this workshop goes beyond just designing kicks, the impact it has had on participants is undeniable. Many participants have even become peer advocates and found new creative passions. 🔥 We’re so proud to be part of a movement that shows how a little support in the right place can encourage new voices, fresh ideas, and creative journeys to take flight. #WeAreJD #JDxNA JD Sports Canada
