We are delighted to announce we have formed a strategic partnership with Deutsche Bahn AG (DB), one of the largest transport companies and railway operators in Europe, to collaborate on sustainable transportation and infrastructure, specifically in the field of green energies, such as green hydrogen and its derivatives. DB is committed to being climate-neutral by 2040. A key element of DB’s decarbonisation strategy is the adoption of alternative drives and usage from green energy sources. Plans include converting DB’s fleet of trains, buses, and trucks into low and zero-emission vehicles, as well as building new infrastructure for operating and maintaining the converted fleets using green energy and green fuels. The collaboration between ITM and DB will comprise five key areas: - Decarbonisation technologies. - Transport and mobility market services and solutions. - Zero-emissions operations. - Energy resilience & self-sufficiency. - Green energy logistics and supply chain. Dennis Schulz, ITM CEO, said: “Deutsche Bahn has an ambitious strategy to transition towards a clean and climate-friendly rail system in Germany, and to play a major role in the transportation of green fuels. We are delighted to support Deutsche Bahn in advancing sustainable transport solutions in the heart of the EU.” Niko Warbanoff, CEO of DB E.C.O. Group, said: “As part of DB, the DB E.C.O. Group is very interested in developing new ideas and collaborations in areas such as green energy, decarbonisation and zero emissions, thereby making a contribution to the rail and infrastructure sector in Germany and around the world.” Read full article here: https://lnkd.in/eKpZp-cN #hydrogen #greentech #decarbonisation #energy #mobility #transport Niko Warbanoff Dennis Schulz Jens Gräfer Claudia D. In July 2024, we reported a capacity reservation for four NEPTUNE II units, with an unnamed large utility company. Today, we are pleased to announce that in relation to this news, EDF Renewables UK & Ireland and Hynamics, a subsidiary of EDF Group, have selected us to execute a plant integration engineering package for Phase 1 of its Northeast-based Tees Green Hydrogen project. The project will boost local industry and transportation by supplying green hydrogen to support decarbonisation efforts and significantly reduce industrial pollution, securing its long-term sustainability. Dennis Schulz, our CEO, said: “It is a privilege to have been selected by EDF Renewables UK and Hynamics, and we look forward to our collaboration with them.” #hydrogen #greentech #energy #transport #decarbonisation

Next week we are sponsoring, exhibiting and speaking at World Hydrogen North America in Houston. Come speak to Tim Calver, Paula McNamee and Abdullah Rehman about why we are the partner of choice for industry leaders from Europe to Japan and beyond. Two of many reasons are the market-leading efficiency and unmatched flexibility of our PEM electrolysers. On April 1, make sure to catch Tim Calver speaking on the Stream A panel - Electrolysis At Scale: Unlocking the Potential Of Renewable Hydrogen. We are on stand 121, and look forward to having a 121 with you. https://lnkd.in/eTcdCb8S #WHNorthAmerica #NorthAmerica #WorldHydrogenNorthAmerica #WorldHydrogenLeaders #WHL #hydrogen World Hydrogen Leaders

With ink drying on the contract, we are delighted to confirm the sale of a 20MW project comprised of four NEPTUNE V units to La Française de l’Energie SA (FDE), for deployment in the first phase of Hydrogen Hub Agder in Norway. The project is owned by Greenstat, a subsidiary of FDE, and will be dedicated to supplying the maritime industry with green hydrogen. Hydrogen production is expected to start in late 2026. The second phase, planned to launch in 2027, is expected to be an additional 40MW. Dennis Schulz, CEO of ITM, said: “The Nordic countries present an exciting opportunity for green hydrogen, and it is a privilege that FDE has selected us for the Agder Hydrogen Hub in Norway.” Antoine FORCINAL, P. Eng., CEO of Française de l'Energie, said: “We are delighted to work with ITM as a partner for the supply of an integrated electrolyser solution for our Agder Hydrogen Hub project, one of the largest green hydrogen projects in Norway.” https://lnkd.in/eJUP_9Ab #hydrogen #ports #maritime #energy

𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 It was great to meet H.E. Sharif Alolama, Secretary for Energy & Petroleum Affairs, at the World Hydrogen Leaders H2 Congress MENA. The United Arab Emirates expect substantial demand growth from various channels, with the top three anticipated to be aviation, shipping and aluminium production. To meet the steep demand growth, by 2031, in just 6 years, the UAE is forecasting a required domestic electrolyser capacity of approx. 8.7 GW, and green hydrogen contributing 20% more to the mix than blue hydrogen. By 2050, the country aims to reach net zero, with 208 GW of electrolyser capacity installed. The UAE have an ambitious strategy and action plan to becoming a leading producer of clean hydrogen: https://lnkd.in/eg34BNQK Thank you for the organisation, Valeria Maria Aruffo and Cornelius Matthes, Dii Desert Energy.
