The project leverages quantitative insights from surveys of 2,000 children. Preliminary survey findings will be shared in the discussion, focusing on the nuanced realities facing children as they negotiate consent, navigate cultural norms, and understand technology's role in modern relationships. Speaking on day 2 of IPPPRI25 is Kelly van den Heuvel of Stop it Now. Kelly will host a workshop discussing 'Risky pornography use of young adult men in The Netherlands'. She will share the results of a new ongoing research project on the pornography habits of young adult men and how often they search for violent or illegal material, including CSAM. Our Director Professor Sam Lundrigan and our Dawes Senior Research Fellow Deanna Davy have presented today at the Protech Project Final Conference. We’ve been part of this innovative programme, developing an EU-funded safety tech app to prevent the viewing of child sexual abuse imagery on internet connected devices. We’ve evaluated the pilot project and presented our findings today, which we look forward to sharing widely in the coming weeks.
