i5mediauk is delighted to share with you our latest short film project for our PR client - smart MedTech disruptors NeedleSmart.  The short film produced by Zope Media - and exec-produced by i5mediauk - highlights the innovation partnership between NeedleSmart and Alder Hey Children's Hospital Innovation centre.  Thanks to Innovation Centre Managing Director Claire Liddy(Jacobson) at Alder Hey Children's Hospital and NeedleSmart CEO Cliff Kirby together they have created a formidable team which pairs Alder Hey's clinical insights and NeedleSmart's smart MedTech expertise that will work towards the shared objective of positively impacting care.  The focus and technology is not only aimed at reducing the 100,000 NeedleStick injuries (NSI) that occur each year to #nhs healthcare staff but equally to work towards the wider sustainability target of carbon net zero by 2032 within the NHS. For many years we have helped a number of air ambulance, military and rugby charities in amplifying their cause and message by developing and curating celebrity ambassador programs and PR campaigns. In doing we are to achieve great things. * To shine a spotlight on the amazing work of a charitable cause raising public and media awareness and at the same time stimulating public donations and philanthropy. * Provide a platform for UHNWI and HNWI to engage their philanthropy with meaningful causes. * To give celebrities and sports stars the opportunity to use their status to passionately engage and support causes close to their hearts and give something back in the most genuine way possible.  One such amazing charity we have recently helped is HERO PAWS www.heropaws.org.uk based in Scotland. A small but perfectly formed charity that helps our tri-service military K9 veterans make the transition from military to civilian life.  But it doesn’t stop there. The charity also supports all of our police forces across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales with their police dog veterans making the transition into retirement.  This amazing team is led by former military dog handler and canine behaviourist Jaime Garner and her team of ex-military dog handlers, who served in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps and Defence Animal Training Regiment (DATR) The Hero Paws team which operates across the UK, helps foster the military and police K9s under their guardianship, out to loving families to end their days of retirement. They help with fostering, training and most importantly costly and expensive vets’ bills.  The long-term plan is to create a sanctuary in Scotland for these dogs to live out their retirement. Thanks to the support of England Rugby legend Mike Tindall who we have worked with on numerous charity projects over 15 years amongst those being several air ambulance charities and Rugby for Heroes where it all started.  Mike embodies everything that’s great about rugby, the military and dogs, the camaraderie, the bond and working as a team. But most of all he is incredibly kind and generous with his time and support of worthy causes. It is even more fitting that the Halo software technology - which was used at the state funeral of Her Majesty and also the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III - receives this announcement on the anniversary of the King's Coronation today.
