🏠 We are delighted to unveil "Nebula", the new concept for our former Teenage Lounge at Hope House. The space has been refurbished thanks to a generous donation by Aico in Oswestry and offers a flexible, multi-media space which can be used as a lounge, gaming room, or cinema room. It has electronic blackout blinds, variable lighting, bespoke storage, and the latest UHD TV and gaming consoles. Nebula offers level access to the courtyard which was refurbished last year, also with support from Aico. 👏 Congratulations to everyone who contributed to the project; it's looking great! ✨ For those of you wondering about the name... it continues the cosmological theme of the rooms at Hope House which include Super Nova, Galaxy, the children's bedrooms being named after planets, and the family bedrooms named after constellations. A Nebula is where new stars are born, the most well known being the Orion Nebula.

💥 WOW!! Amazing businesses and individuals have hit £21,681 raised in our £50 Challenge - and we're only half way!! Our fantastic supporters Harlech Foodservice Ltd dropped into both of our hospices recently with a very generous donation of goody bags for the families who access our services. This was to top-up the generous gift of an exhibition stand at their recent and highly successful annual exhibition at Venue Cymru. The bags were filled with goodies from Ferrari's Coffee Ltd, Radnor Hills, The Village Bakery, Henllan Bakery, Llaeth y Llan / Village Dairy, Tregroes Waffle Bakery Ltd, CDT Sidoli, Snowdonia Cheese Company and Total Food Marketing (Welsh Government). 👏 It was lovely to drop in on our proud supporters Menai Heating this morning with Nicola Jones as they launched our official Anglesey Abseil t-shirt. Not only are they headline sponsors for the event but they have over 10 staff taking part in the May 17th abseil down Anglesey Column. ❤️ Most of their 38 strong team of staff are also tackling a walk up Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon soon to raise even more funds. Yesterday I was at Nantwich Library speaking about Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith with our fantastic community 📚 I first gave a talk at their coffee morning - who doesn’t love a good chat over a brew and biscuits?☕️🍪 In the afternoon, I was downstairs in the library, promoting this year’s events and handing out our beautiful bookmarks.🌼 I would love to talk with more people about the services we provide for local children with life threatening conditions and their families.
