Only a few days left to help change someone’s story. Across our communities, too many families are being forced to choose between heating and eating. Parents are skipping meals so their children don’t go hungry. Hardworking individuals are facing empty cupboards through no fault of their own. At Himmah, we believe no one should face food poverty alone. With just a few days left in our Crowdfunder, we’re asking for your support to help us deliver essential food parcels to those most in need. Your donation could: • Fill a fridge with nutritious food • Ensure a child doesn’t go hungry • Offer dignity and hope in a time of crisis And right now, every pound you give will go twice as far—doubling the meals, the impact, and the change you make possible. Please consider donating and sharing this with your network. Together, we can stand against food poverty and support our community with compassion and action. Donate here: https://lnkd.in/ekuE7i_h

Together, we can provide essential food parcels for families who may not have that extra £20 or £30 for groceries. This is your chance to not only feed people today—but to stand up to the root causes of food poverty and be part of lasting change. Let’s show what community really means. In March, we delivered 1,534 food parcels to individuals and families in need across our community. These parcels offer vital support to those facing hardship and are only possible thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of people like you. As the cost of living crisis continues to impact more lives, the demand for our services keeps growing. You can help us meet this need by donating through the Aviva Community Fund. Every donation is matched by Aviva up to £250, doubling the power of your support. Make a difference today by donating via the link in our bio or at: https://lnkd.in/ekuE7i_h

1 in 7 households – that’s 7.3 million adults – faced food insecurity in January 2025. Even more worrying, 5% of households went an entire day without eating because they couldn’t afford or access food. Single-parent families, households on Universal Credit, those living with a disability, and families with children are being hit the hardest. Many are cutting back on essentials like fruit and vegetables just to get by. Without your support, many families will go hungry. Help us keep giving out weekly food parcels to those in need – donate to our crowdfunder today: https://lnkd.in/eX36vfuM Or click the link in our bio.

This Mother’s Day, show love that goes beyond flowers. Single mothers in our community are being hit hardest by rising poverty. Every day, they carry the weight of the world on their shoulders—often going without so their children don’t have to. Himmah, in partnership with Gingerbread, is standing beside these incredible women. But we need your help. Support our crowdfunder via the link in bio to give a struggling mum the support she deserves. Because no mother should have to choose between feeding her child and heating her home. https://lnkd.in/ekuE7i_h
