GCP signs definitive agreement to realise its investment in Hippo. GCP is pleased to announce the realisation of its investment in Hippo to Exponent, subject to customary regulatory clearances. Our investment partnership with Hippo began in 2021, since then we have worked closely with co-founders Adam Lewis, Robert Coop, and Liz Whitefield to accelerate growth, enhance leadership, build talent pipelines, and refine market strategy. Today, Hippo has grown to 500 people, expanded its capabilities, and strengthened its position as a leading digital services consultancy in the UK public sector. GCP signs definitive agreement to realise its investment in Bridewell, which will deliver a return of 9.3x to GCP Fund V.   GCP is delighted to announce that it has signed a definitive agreement to realise its investment in Bridewell, the UK’s leading cybersecurity services business, to an investor group including Oakley Capital, Eurazeo and Sagard NewGen which will enable a strategic alliance to be formed with i-TRACING. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory clearances and will deliver a return of 9.3x for GCP Fund V.   Our investment partnership with Bridewell began in March 2021, to support Anthony Young FCIIS and Scott Nicholson and the wider management team to deliver on their ambitious growth plans. The partnership exemplifies GCP’s commitment to backing entrepreneurial businesses with innovation and intellectual capital at their core, that drive the Knowledge Economy. By providing both capital and tailored strategic growth support for technology and specialist services organisations we help to significantly accelerate and deliver sustainable growth.
