We can't believe we're saying this... but we've partnered with our B Corp besties, Intrepid Travel, who are giving away a free trip each week for the duration of March on Forest Ads, in celebration of B corp Month (B Lab UK)! We wanted to encourage Forest riders to elevate their current riding habits, and therefore have an even greater positive impact on our environment, so to get involved all they have to do is 10 or more rides with Forest in a week! Whether it’s commuting to the office and back each day, or hopping on and off exploring the city on the weekend, it’s nice and easy to rack up at least 10 rides each week. This is obviously an unbelievable opportunity to reward our loyal riders with a once in a lifetime experience, so check out the video below to watch the moment we surprised the winner of Week 1’s giveaway with a free Intrepid trip in Morocco! A huge thank you to Brigitte Jennings and Angela Chen for working with us to bring this incredible giveaway to life! Week 1 was a trip to Morocco, this week is a trip to India, we wonder where the next 2 prize trips will be heading…🧐

It's official✨ we are officially a strategic partner with the London Cycling Campaign! Our focus will be actively supporting their Women’s Network to identify and remove safety barriers that prevent many women from cycling in London. Most recently, we sponsored their Women's Freedom After Dark report and provided free access to our e-bikes for their night ride launch event. Beyond this, we are collaborating on several initiatives aimed at enhancing safety for all cyclists and promoting responsible cycling behaviour. Stay tuned for what’s ahead! https://lnkd.in/eFcnXbZW

You didn’t ask, but we have delivered… MICS ON BIKES is here! We’ve been cooking something up over the last few months—something we’ve always wanted to do but have never taken the plunge. So here we are, deep-diving into the podcast/ vodcast/ sticking-a-mic-on-a-bike (?) world. It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Josh Cohen as our debut guest. Not only is Josh the founder of Newlane, a game-changing cycle helmet company, but he’s also one of our brilliant advertising partners on Forest Ads — which helps brands get noticed whilst riders are on the move. In this episode, we explored: 🚀 All things Newlane - from the inspiration behind the helmet to harnessing the power of digital advertising tools for early-stage growth. 🤝 How Josh is rewriting the mentoring rulebook—providing real-time inspiration to budding entrepreneurs from someone who’s in the thick of it, rather than once they’ve made their millions. 🔥 Josh’s exciting new venture (pssst… you can find it here: https://lnkd.in/eBUvA_zB) And most importantly... how is WHOOP actually pronounced?(we're still unsure - Will Ahmed, fancy clarifying for us?) Check out episode 1 of MICS ON BIKES here: https://lnkd.in/exQe9UCZ If you want to follow in Josh’s tyre tracks, and fancy a chilled chat with a mic on a bike, say hey to Georgia M. #innovation #digitalmarketing #podcast

This is a biggie! We're delighted to be launching this partnership with Bolt which will give their millions of customers access to our affordable and sustainable shared e-bikes in London. It's another powerful step towards unifying the fragmented micromobility and shared mobility market, and is part of a wider trend seen across the industry. Bring on 10th March!

Big news for London commuters!  From 10 March, you’ll be able to hop on a Forest e-bike directly from the Bolt app! 15,000+ e-bikes are being added to give you more transport choices, making it easier than ever to get around London. Why does this matter? 👉 70% of Bolt customers in the UK don’t own a car – More shared mobility means fewer cars on the road. 👉  40% of Bolt rides in London cover less than 5 km – A perfect distance for a quick and efficient e-bike trip. 👉  47% of Bolt’s micromobility trips connect with public transport – E-bikes make the first and last mile easier, getting you where you need to be, faster. Ready to ride, London? 🚲 Find out more about our partnership in the comments 👇

Forest is, and always has been committed to providing an equitable and inclusive service for the benefit of the whole community, particularly non-users with accessibility needs. We are really pleased to become a signatory to the e-bike charter, and look forward to growing our partnership with Sight Loss Councils, and the blind and partially sighted community, so that we continue learning about how we can improve and build a more inclusive service.

London-based Forest signs the Sight Loss Councils’s e-bike charter to help ensure the safety of blind and partially sighted pedestrians around micromobility. The e-bike charter calls on operators, local authorities and governing bodies to commit to six key principles, ranging from dedicated micromobility parking, to maximum weight and speed restrictions. “Ensuring cycling is available to as many people as possible and removing barriers to access is hugely important to Forest,” the startup's Head of Policy Alex Berwin told Zag Daily. “Forest is investing in other vehicle types to cater for a variety of journeys, including those with children and cargo, but there is also a wider conversation needed around how to integrate adapted vehicles for those with disabilities into the shared space.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/eGbTfa2g
