"It's not every day that a baby is born in your car park...!" 👶 Asda Huntly welcomed a very special delivery recently, after baby William made a dramatic entry to the world when he was delivered by his dad Michael in the store's car park. Michael and his wife Dinara were on their way to the maternity hospital in Aberdeen when they realised they weren't going to get there in time. Michael pulled into the Asda Huntly car park, delivering baby William just before the ambulance arrived. When store manager Linda found out about William's unexpected arrival she took a bouquet of flowers to their home and invited the family to the store so she could given them a hamper full of baby goodies. https://lnkd.in/eZeAHmSN
Welcome James! We are delighted to announce the appointment of James Goodman FCIPD as Chief People Officer. James joins us from Tesco where he has been for 12 years, most recently as the People Director for the UK and ROI, responsible for all people related matters, including labour relations, recruitment, learning, early careers and health and wellbeing. James also worked in Shanghai as Sourcing Director for Tesco’s home and clothing division F&F and spent 6 years at Gap prior to this. After Which? named Asda as the cheapest supermarket for the ‘Big Shop’ in March, the Grocer has confirmed this is the case too!
