The "I Can Dudley" programme is making great strides in improving local job access and addressing recruitment challenges across Dudley Council and Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust. Funded by the Commonwealth Games Legacy Fund until March 2025, this initiative has fostered community engagement and workforce development. Since January 2024, the programme has placed 30 participants in paid work experience, with 23 placed in clinical support roles at Dudley NHS Trust. Over 90 people have also attended the "Into Employment" course run by the Adult Community Learning team. A special event on Wednesday 5 March celebrated these achievements, with certificates presented by the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Lee. This programme is a fantastic example of collaboration and the positive impact of local workforce development!
