Just back from an inspiring few days at the IKT - Institute for Underground Infrastructure’s AI Drones and Smart Sewers Conference. A brilliant opportunity to explore the future of sewer inspection, monitoring and mapping through some fascinating international perspectives. What really stood out was how, wherever we are in the world, we all share the same challenges – and the same urgent need for effective, future-ready solutions. The event was packed with insightful talks, impressive demos and thought-provoking discussions on how emerging technologies are reshaping the sector. A big thank you to the IKT team for the fantastic hospitality – Roland W. Waniek Iain Naismith Ashwini Ausekar Bert Bosseler (and the rest of the team of course) Plenty of ideas to take forward – exciting times ahead for innovation in the industry. Can't wait for IKT-Fest 2026! ;)
