Do it Now Now is an open innovation organisation committed to the social empowerment of Black communities.

About us

Do it Now Now is a non-profit, open innovation organisation driven by the desire to bring social empowerment to Black communities, historically excluded from mainstream systems of support, across the globe. We run six core programs to achieve our mission: AfriTech XYZ: A virtual accelerator program for African tech entrepreneurs. The program matches founders with mentors across the globe and the networks they need to build tech that will contribute to a better future for Africa. Black and Good: a peer-to-peer support program that engages Black leaders both online and offline. We work with hundreds of people each year and collaborate with leading companies to share resources and tools with our members. Centre Black: a new research centre committed to the production of high-quality research and advocacy that centres the experiences of Black people across the UK. The research empowers community leaders to become thought-leaders. Common Call: a grant fund that supports Black entrepreneurs and innovators in the UK who are building businesses and charities with a social-impact. Our goal is to make it easier for people with lived experiences of key issues, to build and sustain social enterprises. My Moon Landing: A ground-breaking London wide program that identifies and support the leadership development of Black women, LGBTQ+ and non-binary people. We catalyse community development by developing grassroots leaders to better serve their constituencies. Voltage Revolution: a programme working with young Black people not in education or employment, to help them build a career in the UK's creative and tech sectors. Through mentorship, resources and training, we help our community reach their goals.

  • Black-led doesn’t mean low capacity. Yet funders treat Black-led organisations as risky — despite their track record of impact, agility, and trust in community. Beyond the Cliff Edge directly addresses this bias. It offers concrete steps to shift how Black-led orgs are valued and funded. 📘 This report is both diagnosis and prescription. 👉 Access it here https://lnkd.in/eZnBCpDY 📌 DiNN exists to build the infrastructure that shows funders what’s possible — and supports Black leaders while doing it. 🏷️ #BeyondTheCliffEdge #BlackLedOrgs #DoItNowNow #CapacityBuilding #LeadershipSupport

Too many powerful orgs don’t last — not because of mission, but because of missed support. DiNN is here to change that. We support Black-led organisations of all sizes (£0–£1M income) with capacity building, strategy, and leadership development that sticks. 👉 Build for the long term https://lnkd.in/eHYKUd9w 📌 Dear Black Leader — if you don’t know us yet: We’re a Black-led organisation backing Black-led work. We design programmes for people building change in their own communities — charities, CICs, social enterprises — whether you’re just getting started or managing a team and a budget up to £1M. We’re here because traditional systems weren’t. And we’ll keep showing up — with funding advice, leadership support, peer networks, and training that actually respects your time. This isn’t charity. This is infrastructure. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eHYKUd9w *** did you catch it???
