On Thursday 27th February, Niall Clarke and Dylan Ward took on the challenge of spending the night in Piccadilly Station, as part of the ‘Association for Project Management Challenge’ - a competition aimed at teams of young project professionals, looking to gain experience and develop their skills, whilst also helping to benefit the world around them by supporting a charity of their choice. It was a cold night, with temperatures dropping as low as 2 degrees and the cold station floor was far from comfy! Despite this, they battled through, with Dylan waking up on his 21st birthday! So far, they have raised over £450 for 'The Railway Children' and continue to ask for donations for this great cause: https://lnkd.in/dagmh-4W The Railway Children raise awareness and funds of vulnerable children alone and at risk in the UK, India & Tanzania. Every year thousands of children run away or are forced to leave homes that have become unbearable through poverty, abuse, violence and neglect. It’s an inspiring reminder of how the railway industry can make a meaningful difference to those in need.
