Congratulations to Polestar for another impressive year driving transparency and sustainability in the automotive industry, including a 25% reduction in GHG emissions per sold car since 2020! Polestar's 2024 Sustainability Report highlights our collaboration since 2021 to trace battery raw materials Cobalt, Mica, Lithium and Nickel for the Polestar 2, plus Graphite for Polestar 3. The partnership also includes carbon tracking, which involves dynamical attributing emissions from supply chain participants based on material flow, offering its customers industry leading transparency. Yesterday we published Polestar’s fourth annual sustainability report covering progress made, challenges faced, and next steps. While others stall, we keep our foot on the pedal - and we’ve got results to show for it: a 25% reduction in our GHG-emissions per sold car compared to our 2020 base year. This is an important achievement as a growing climate solutions company, but only a milestone on our road to zero. I am proud to work at a company where we not only push for sustainability – we do it with full transparency. This year our report is 3rd party assured for the first time, also an important step forward. I am also so proud of everyone in our organisation working hard to put this report together, and especially our Communications & Reporting Lead Linda Skogsberg who steers us with her steady hand 🙌 Read the report here: https://lnkd.in/dJfePp6a.
