Can I open my own account at the Cask Trade Warehouse? Yes. The new location will enhance the effective management of clients’ whisky, something we have been working to continually improve over 2024. It will allow for Delivery Orders (DOs) to be provided with greater ease for customers who wish to have one, while ensuring cask management efficiencies can be made under one roof. SCOTLAND 👀 Cask Trade are proud to announce the opening of our very own warehouse in Forres, Speyside. Founder and CEO of Cask Trade, Simon Aron, says the move is an exciting step forward for the company: “Opening our own warehouse is a natural progression for the business and will enhance the effective management system of our clients whisky, something we have been working hard to make even better over 2024. This will allow us to provide Delivery Orders (DOs) with greater ease for customers who wish to have one. The amazing location also means we can offer a total single cask whisky experience for our customers. Just 30 minutes from Inverness airport, the warehouse is surrounded by more than 50 world renowned single malt distilleries and a range of hotels, making Forres the perfect place for customers to visit their cask and explore “Malt Whisky Country”. Visitors will have access to the breathtaking landscapes, from stunning beaches on the Moray Firth to mountainous forests in the Cairngorm national park. Whisky travels from Speyside to Edinburgh! 🥃 Myriam, one of our longest standing whisky experts and Senior Account Manager, travelled up to Scotland last week with the newest member of the Cask Trade crew! 📍 Independent Spirits Festival, Edinburgh - @independent_spirits_festival Myriam shared some fantastic drams throughout the day and Luna certainly made friends with some of our clients. 📍 SMWS Leith, The Vaults - @smws_uk A members whisky bar and iconic spot in Edinburgh for whisky lovers. 📍 The Highlander Inn, Craigellachie - @thehighlanderinn A quick visit to one of our favourite whisky bars in Speyside where the team have spent a couple of Christmas parties! It's fantastic to see one of our own casks bottled and behind the bar at The Highlander Inn. This bottle is a 10yo Secret Speyside at 55.8%. It has been bottled to save the local iconic "Telford Bridge", also known as Craigellachie Bridge. Part of the bottle sales will go to the charity Friends of Craigellachie Bridge for maintenance. You can try a dram or buy a bottle at @thehighlanderinn, or find a bottle at the Speyside Whisky Shop in Aberlour, and Whiskybrother in Dufftown. It's a pleasure to be part of such a meaningful bottling 🥃
