We can't believe it's been a whole year since we held the first World Unseen exhibition at Somerset House and it has since shown millions of people, across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and online, how our print technology can be used to make the arts more accessible for blind and partially sighted people. But it has also taught us how to walk in the shoes of others. We have been humbled by the kindness and support of our charity partners, who have guided our hands every step of the way, introducing us to their local communities and astonishing us with the work they do every day. And there are barely words to express our gratitude to each and person who visited, for taking the time to join us, talking to us about your experiences and helping us to learn every day. Head to Canon VIEW and find out how World Unseen grew from an important idea into an all-encompassing passion: https://canon.sm/3EcSajO

It's an absolute delight to hear how Jodie Bailey-Ho has gone from strength to strength since being a Canon Young Champion finalist in 2023! This year she joins the Global Good Awards as a judge, alongside a host of leaders in sustainability and ethical leadership.
In 2023, Jodie Bailey-Ho was a finalist in the Canon EMEA Young Champion category. Jodie hasn’t rested on her laurels since then, continuing her work in sustainability and climate change, winning more awards, and even joining our panel of judges in 2024 to help us assess entries in the very category that she triumphed in! We grabbed half an hour of her time, to ask how things have been going, as well as her top pieces of advice for any young person thinking abut entering the Canon Young Champion category. https://lnkd.in/eSZEERi6

When we launch new products, it’s the culmination of many months of hard work and a really exciting time for everyone at Canon. So, of course, when we recently debuted the PowerShot V1 and EOS R50 V, we wanted to give everyone at our London HQ an opportunity to try these incredible new cameras – and have a little fun at the same time. We know that they are perfect for content creators, so we invited the amazing vlogger and TikToker Marta of ‘In Stitches by Marta’ to hold a crochet workshop, alongside a cake and biscuit decorating event. And any event we hold isn't complete without a photobooth, so everyone could show off their creativity!

We had a blast organising an Innovation Challenge at our UK Headquarters, where we hung out with some super-inspiring STEAM enthusiasts! This power-packed event was the fruit of our collaboration with the social enterprise Stemettes and our aim was to motivate these young minds to weave art and design into a STEM challenge, highlighting the importance of the "A" in STEAM. This wonderful initiative was brought to life thanks to the Canon Women in Business & Allies Network, who are committed to nurturing diversity and inclusion at work.
